Matteo is crawling!
Matteo just started crawling the other night! He has been trying to do it for the last month or two but always chickens out when he gets onto all fours and sits back down. but he finally started crawling. he was playing alone in our living room and i was on the phone in our room and all of a sudden i looked and he was right by our bed! he had crawled all the way into our room:) life just got more fun!
also...we are gonna let matteo cry tonight. and this time we are not going to give in. he keeps waking up and every time it takes longer and longer to get him back to sleep. so we´ve had enough! the problem is that he sleeps in the same room as us so we can´t even close the door and escape. i usually give in and start rocking him back to sleep..which is probably the worst thing to do! but i´m a suck. and i like my sleep.
so that´s the plan for the next couple days. oh ya...then on sun night a friend and her friend are coming for a week! so that´s good because i am getting very homesick these days and i need some familiar faces! now it´s my turn to go out!

Adios papa
We're saying goodbye to my dad, grama, and great aunt kay this afternoon. The good news is my mom comes in like 6 weeks....and then in 7 weeks we leave! now i am getting so excited to go back home. i think ives is too. we talk about canada like it's this perfect country where nothing ever goes wrong.....and the cold really isn't thaaat cold. i think we'll be surprised when we get back:)
anyways....off to clean up matteo's mess. he's getting pretty big now...starting to eat lots of different things. he bounces his head whenever music comes on. it's real cute. it's that mexican blood in him wanting to dance!

Hey everyone! Having fun here in Mexico....my Grandma and her sister, Kay, are here visiting for a couple weeks. I have some more pictures on the flickr part. miss you all. we booked our flights for march 7th, so we will arrive in stoon on the 8th! look forward to seeing everyone! countdown begins!

Feliz Ano Nuevo!
Hola everyone back home! Happy New Year to ya'll! Hope everyone had a great night last night! We started off the evening by going to the beach and watching the year's last sunset. Then we went for dinner to a new fondue restaurant...we had the meat and seafood fondue...sooo cool and very good! Then we went to Ives' families and hung out by the BBQ...they were having a carne asada (bbq) and so we all hung out on the street until midnight. I was kinda exhuasted and so we left shortly after midnight. Now today my dad arrives with my Grama and her sister. Ives and I are becoming professional tour guides soon I think!
Aight...off to the airport I go. I'll put more pictures of Matteo up sometime this week. Adios!
