Turkey Gobble
Hey everyone! Hope you all are eating extra turkey and pie for me! I tried looking all over the city for pumpkin pie filling but had no luck. i made coffee cake instead. not quite the same but better than nothin. today i am thankful for many many things! first of all - the last two days have been rainy and cloudy!! i got to wear jeans now two days in a row. i´m sure it´s still like 27 degrees but atleast there is no sun! second - i am thankful that we got our car back...just in time for the rain too. it is running really good. only need breaks now.....we can still stop...we just have to slow down pretty early. thirdly - cruiseship was cancelled yesterday and ives, matteo, and i all slept for like 3 hours in the afternoon. this was a total answer to pray bc i was feeling sooo tired from the last couple weeks. fourthly - ives´ visa is now complete and we can come back whenever we want! there was some problems with matteo not being born at the time we did the paper work but now it´s all taken care of. the immigration lady called me personally and everthing! that never happens! finally - i am thankful that matteo is soooooooo cute and fun and loveable and happy. we started feeding him carrots yesterday and he loved them. he seems to be eating everythign we give him....i think he gets his appetite from his mom.
so those are just a few of the many things we are thankful for. God has been helping us a lot lately and life is starting to seem liveable again!! sorry no pics yet. my parents come in a month and then i will have the cable again. hope you all enjoy your long weekend!!! jamie
