So here we are at Estrella Del Mar, spending the last night with my parents before they head back to Canada:( It's almost midnight and my mom is rocking Matteo to sleep for me. Man, I'm gonna miss her. She has helped me sooo much. I mean, I didn't even know how to burp the poor guy until she showed me! I still can't believe how long it takes to get one little burp out of him. I thought all guys were experts in that area.
It's been a very crazy last few weeks. Matteo is 3 weeks old now and I think I am finally getting used to the idea that I am his mom....and he is getting used to the idea that he is my son. He is already seeming older...he can hold his head up and move it around and everything. He doesn't sleep that much for a newborn and likes to watch everything. My mom says that I was like that too. I hope he stops taking after me though once he hits highschool. We still can't tell the colour of his eyes...some days they look blue, some days green, and other days brown.
Oh, I think she got him to sleep! Yay, I can sleep now too! Guess I better go. By the way, Sally, if you are reading this, I am so excited for you to come. It's what's keeping me from balling my eyes out at the airport tomorrow when my mom leaves! See you soon! Buenas Noches everyone!
