Sick in bed

Not much new over here. Ives and I are sick in bed with nasty colds. I escaped for a bit and came to check my email. We´ve basically spent the last week working, cleaning our apartment, fixing the car, renting movies, going to movies, and blowing our noses. it`s been fun. i did have some of Ives` friends over last week for supper. my first ever dinner party. little suzie homemaker i am now. only 3 more weeks left until Mateo comes! i think he is gonna be late but everyone around me says early. i have learned already that i have no maternal instinct whatsoever. i fought with everyone bc i thought that we were having a girl. everyone thought he was gonna be a boy except me. now we are having a girl. so now i think that i should give up following my ´instincts`and just listen to everyone else... or atleast the doctor.
anyways...back to bed i go. hope you all had a wonderful easter!!

5 more weeks!

So we went to the doctor and he estimated that Mateo will be born in around 5 weeks! Kind of hard to believe but I guess everything will seem more real very soon!
I put lots of pictures on here. It´s been awhile since I updated this site but we´ve been pretty busy.
First of all my friend Jason Shum came to visit with his girlfriend. That was so neat because I hadn´t seen him in like 4 years.
Then my mom, sister, her boyfriend, Ives, and I took a last minute road trip to Puerto Vallarta to surprise my grandparents at the airport. They had no idea that we were gonna drive there and were very very excited to see us. Gramps cried. Puerto Vallarta was very beautiful and more green than Mazatlan...but it was still nice to come home afterwards. (on the scary, potholed highway)
Got home and found out that Andrea and James decided to drive back home to Canada a little earlier than expected. (sniffle sniffle) So they left this weekend and so did my mom. Everyone at once:( I had a little crying session on Sunday and was wishing they had taken me with them. (sorry Ives:)
But it´s all good. They were here for my babyshower, put on by Ives´mom and Aunt. It was amazing actually to see how many people came out to my shower...half of them I didn´t even know but were relatives of Ives. It was very sweet. It was actually in a restaurant bc the new and cool thing to do is have baby showers in restaurants. I will put more pictures of that in a bit but I have no more space left right now. Just check out the very lovely..and somewhat tacky decorations.....including the one on my shirt. gotta love mexico! hehe. but it was soooo very thoughtful and a lot of fun as well. Got lots of diapers and other fun little things. Our house is already starting to smell like baby with all the diapers and wet wipes around!
I guess that´s about all that´s new for now. Still working just a few days a week and starting to really really enjoy this very very hot and humid weather we´ve been having. Please give me a call anyone and everyone! I´m starting to get lonely!!!!!!!!!!
