"Going to a mission field will not make a person a soul -winner. It is at home, before one enters the foreign field , that the spirit of self-sacrifice and soul winning must be gained and exersised" --Andrew Murray

that definitely carries the thought! the only difference between "missionaries" and missionaries is that the "missionaries" are in another culture and they are gifted in loving that other culture whereas the missionaries are among their own people. I would think that the people with the job to love their own people essentially have the harder task though!

Good point, Caro. "Missionaries" can choose which people they go to, typcially those they "have a heart for" in good Christianese, while you can't choose where you come from!
And thanks for pointing out my mistakes, Tam! Really, though, it is embarrassing when I go to write on the board and can't remember the proper spellings! I actually looked something up in one adult class!
