Today is the International Day of Peace.
Greg has a nice post on his journey to embracing non-violence as a kingdom virtue. As a menno, non-violence seems very second nature to me. Rather than figuring out how peace fits into my worldview of acceptance/tolerance of war/violence/non-peace, I am working through the flipside.
With that said, I would encourage you to consider and pray for peace ... for we all have an important role to play.

Thanks for the link. It certainly has been a journey, and based on my "starting point" (basically I started taking faith seriously in college...a right-wing, Pro-America, Pro-Capitalism, etc), it hasn't been easy. I now see it as my job to sow those seeds of non-violence in my church fellowship, and join with those others who want us to reclaim our Anabaptist-esque heritage.
Peace,
Greg
