Thanks to Victoria

Thanks to a long weekend, I was able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine yesterday.

The MacKenzie has a fantastic Inuit sculpture display, some still life painting (some guy actually captured the way snow glows with a blue-ish tinge in the winter dusk), some texile pieces and some others focusing on world politics. After meandering through culture, the afternoon sunshine beckoned. Wascana park was full people ... soaking in the rays, going for a walk/jog/stroll/bike ride, little children feeding the geese, playing frisbee, windsurfing, rowing ... everyone in the presence of good company and conversation.

And today, despite promises of similar sunshine and warmth, I must return to my air-conditioned work space. No need to lament, it appears as though summer is upon city.
