gone going

"Where have you gone?" cries the consciousness of the single female.

Speaking with a friend this evening, we came to the hypothesis that all late-20-something straight, single men have left the province. Perhaps they are in AB, BC or ON? Is so, should I come find you and relocate my life as I know it?
No longer do we see our male peers in church or in small groups or at grocery stores. Perhaps they have been kidnapped and are being held hostage? If so, please let me know what the ransom is.
Does anyone know where they have gone?

Many do leave for jobs/life in BC, AB and ON, but many stay. They can be tough to find though. Here are a few places to look:

Home Depot

Hockey Arena

Livestock Auction

If you can find a reason to go to any of those places, you'll find single guys. The seducing and weeding out process is then up to you.

Hmmm. Well, it feels like I've been to both Home Depot and Rona many many, times since I've moved. And I even venture beyond the shelving and interior decorating sections. For example, I have been spotting browsing in power tools, strolling through plumbing and lingering in furnace/ventilation. All that I found were elderly males with their under 10-year old grandsons.
Perhaps I'll have better luck with the livestock auction. I do remember Sally mentioning that Agribition is coming. A quick internet search revealed that it is indeed coming Nov 21-26. Anyone want to come with me?
And hockey arena. Hmmm. I haven't even gone to any of the Rider games. I guess I'd have to get to know some people before venturing to the rink.
