The Update You've All Been Waiting For

OK, so Caro left a comment and wanted to know about updates. I've been busy with other stuff (ie young adult retreats with 1.5 hours of broomball and then hottubbing, hanging out with my folks who came to visit, getting my trip to Europe all figured out, sleeping), and haven't gotten around to blogging anything lately.
Anyway, excuses aside, I've decided to head off to Regina in July. I'll be closer to most of you who read this, farther from others (but still within a reasonable distance), so you'll have to come visit.

Wow, Europe? Way to go Jenn. When and where exactly?

Over Easter. Basically a week in London & a week in Paris ... also day trips from each city - Buckingham palace, Stonehendge, Bath, Juno beach, the Chunnel etc.

I guess I'm still quite lost as to why you're going on this trip- not that I blame you! - and with whom you're going, stuff like that. This is really the first I'm hearing of it! Aren't you excited? It sounds awesome.

I'm going with Lindsay from my small group. The high school she used to attend sends students to Europe every year. They decided to open it up to alumni and added that she could bring a friend if she wanted to. Hence, I get to come. And the best part is that we're not chaperones - we're just along for the ride.
I'm not really all that excited yet. I guess with all the other things happening in my life at the moment (most notably the whole job situation, which I have to admit, I haven't gotten very excited about yet either), nothing is really sinking in. Honestly, long term plans have no real impact - it's more about getting through each day.
Anyway - I'm going soon. I'll take lots and lots of pictures so you can see what I was up to. If I have time, I try to blog from that continent to keep y'all up to date.

Well have tons of fun Jenn, and I'll pray for your safety. And don't put any bags of sand in your suitcase... it's just an unpleasant situation with the security. :) Take care!

if you wanna bring sand back put some in an old film case (the plastic ones back in the day of film) cuz they won't look there.
