FAQ's
Who is jenjie?
jenjie is probably the only nickname I've ever held. It originated sometime early in high school and became my online persona. An internet search of the term no longer solely references me. No one, in speaking to me, calls me jenjie.
Who or what is The Found Sheep?
The Found Sheep was the former name of this blog and the name under which I posted entries.
What's a mennogirl?
Mennogirl refers to my gender and my Mennonite (not Amish, Doukhobor or Hutterite) faith/cultural background. The
Mennoboys have their own web domain.

Who are you really?
Someone who likes to think deep thoughts and ask good questions. Most of my writings are my way of working out bigger questions ... you often see only the tip of the iceberg. Some people have gone through my archives to grasp the bigger perspective. [see links on
main page]
Things that get at the heart of who I am have been posted
here.
My
mission statement relates to my professional practice as a hospital pharmacist.
What do you do?
The best answer I have to that question is "I serve." My current profession is that of a hospital pharmacist in Canada. I had the opportunity to volunteer as a hospital pharmacist in
Africa in 2006 and in spring of 2008. I am interested in how to best merge aide/social work with missions opportunities.
What's with you and God?
Good question! I love God: I am passionate about that relationship. I've grown up in a number of faith traditions. While my family faith heritage is Mennonite [see above], I have attended services of several other faith denominations. I have a soft spot for liturgy, enjoy attending Catholic mass and also enjoy participating in more contemporary services.
Loving God means that my whole life is changed. My desire to serve others, to look for beauty, to have gentleness, grace and compassion permeate my actions ... the things that make me who I am all stem from how I relate to God.
What are your writing themes?
The major themes or categories are
faith/God,
singleness/relationships and, recently,
"social conscience" issues.
